Here is Maggie in bunny ears and her Easter dress. What a sight!
Althought we all love Easter baskets, and chocolate bunnies, and those Cadbury mini-eggs, they aren't the pinnacle of Easter. Easter is about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christ's death and resurrection gives assurance that the penalty for your sin (and we are all sinners, even Maggie!) against the holy God is paid for once and for all; that you can be reconciled to God through faith in the finished work of Christ. Faith in Christ is not just a get-out-of-Hell card, it is not signing up for a big list of do's and don't's, but the gift of salvation and a relationship with the Creator of the universe.
Tyler and I are so thankful for this wonderful gift God has given the world, and thankful for Easter.
